Back from the match and I am absolutely fuming with that arsehole Styles - he didn't have a clue what he was doing, the cock-up with booking Essien/Terry was a total shambles. The fucktard did everything in his power to stop Liverpool winning. When Chelsea had a free kick, Liverpool were made to go back the full 10 yds, yet when it was a free kick for Liverpool, he made Chelsea go back only 7 or 8 yards. All the yellow cards spoilt what could have been an excellent game of football.

I have never seen a team like the rentboys who constantly are in the ref's face at every decision given. Styles lost the plot from the start and should have put a stop to it early in the first half. He missed half of the holding done by Chelsea players on Liverpool players, so did the stunted, shortarse mong of a linesman

The PL seriously want to investigate Styles, he's definitely not fit to referee.

He is still getting used to the English defenders, but you can easily see that he is going to be a great player for us. He just oozes class and sometimes his first touch was just something else

He was almost briliant today, a couple of times he could have passed to Kuyt who was clear, but he didnt see him. Other then that... for his 2nd game in the PL he was strong, quick with an excellent first touch, he took control over some very difficult balls and had Ben-Haim cacking himself at times. I loved the way he took the piss out of Terry when he put his finger to his mouth and went ssshhhh and also patted him on the cheek after he scored his goal I just loved how he deliberately went over to get in Terry's way when the ball was in the air. He knew he couldn't win it but he was quite happy to get himself in the way. With a few more games under his belt, I'm certain he's going to be a world-class striker, something Liverpool has lacked for a long time.

In Torres we have now got someone who can make things happen, who makes you perk up when he has the ball. Babel has that affect too, I really rated him for the 20 mins he was on the pitch. Rafa should have subbed that useless ginger twat, Riise way before he did and brought Babel on. We were exciting to to watch and looked dangerous going forward, especially in the first half. I don't think we are the finished article yet, but we aren't far short. I think it could be an exciting season, hopefully

Riise is useless, he's slow, his reaction time is slow, can't tackle, trots round like a headless chicken at times instead of getting stuck in, he also lacks bottle. OK he scores the odd cracking goal, but to me and thousands of others on LFC forums, he shouldn't be in the Liverpool team.

I don't know whether they showed it on TV or not yesterday but Carra really lost his rag with Riise, gave him a right mouthful and when Riise responded, Carra gave him an almighty 2-handed shove backwards, Reina tried to pull Carra off and he got a mouthful too from Carra

I wish other players in the team were as dedicated as Carra.

Torres looked great, although was guilty of trying too hard at times and not laying off a simple pass to keep us in possession.

I agree with Lynne, Riise is just a good shot ( 50% of the time ) the rest of the time he is average and his shots are wayward!

we played some great stuff yesterday and i'll be surprised if we are not right up there at the end of the season.

i would say riise is useless lynne, but i agrre, he aint no defender, thats why rafa's after heinze, riise is far more affective going forward, he looks out of place at left back, and does get caught upfield when he needs to be back, hopefully if we get heinze, he wil bring some balance, we will have a strong back 4, finnan, one of the most underated players in the premiership imo, carra and agger, and heinze
