Someone please explain Spaced to me
Hi all
I have recently downloaded and watched season one of Spaced on the recommendation of many people. I am a big fan of Simon Pegg, so I thought I would give it a try.
Observations...
The bird in it is an annoying twat.
The script is weird
The plot is non-existant.
If I am honest, I have sat here watching it for hour and a half now, and havent even cracked a smile!
So why dont I get it?

Update - second season much better than first season. First season too odd.
Much helped by the fact that female lead has lost a bit of weight now - enough to move from the no pile to the yes pile!

cracking series, its just one of those things you either like or dont. I thought the office was shit and cant bare to watch it.
spaced for me isnt laugh out loud in histerics funny, but its VERY clever and the humour is very witty, lots of references to other films and programs like all pegg/wright stuff (shaun of the dead, hot fuzz etc)
