Just a quicky,

does anyone know exactly what the equipment & software the guy is using to test the thickness etc of the paint?

shame theres no before n after pic! plus it says the polish was £600 (ish) so weres this 7k polish idea come from? i do need to read it properly il admit but its mental, almost as nuts as that guy wiv the brand new VXR astra that was posted up

Its the polish that costs £7k to buy per tub Zymol Royalle from memory. Not the valet.

did you not see the before and after pic of the door?

Trying taking the leftover pieces of pie out of your eyes and reading and looking at the article again.

I can't remember what the make is but we used to use these to test the thickness of Powder coatings, and it also used to tell you the shineyness(sp).

Not seen the article but i use Elcometer electronic thickness gauges at work to measure paint thickness. Gives accuracy of 1 micro meter.

Yes, it was quoted as £600 for someone to do that work once. The £7k is right

I have the "next one down" which is Zymol Vintage, £1800

I've been using Concours Glaze up until now which I love, but have been assured that this is in a totally different league

get onto www.detailingworld.co.uk for anything like this. The paint thickness gauges are about 400 for good ones

there was a place doing near me at that price saying "Hand Car wash £3" until me and my mate changed the sign to say "Handjob £3"

They didnt do it for much longer then
