Rolling on 2 zero's
..just treated the XKR to a set of bbs split rim 20 inchers OE factory..were an optional extra
...9 inch front and 10 inch rear...the rear tyres are 285/30/20 
..cant wait to get them and pimp my ride
..just thought i'd share this with my friend Ronald from Cardiff

I can confirm, that as an ex jag employee, they are 2 piece split rim alloys, similar to the ones fitted to VW's.
They are NOT split rims in the traditional sense, as the 'hoop' is one piece. The bolts are indeed fake though

you can pull that bit of chrome off and still drive around on it, its purely a cosmetic (rather tacky TBH) addition, its not part of the actual wheel at all.

Not taking sides here, but technically Chip is correct, the whole point of a split rim was/is to allow easy re-sizing by bolting on different width sections, and to aid tyre fitment/removal....... Also, a TRUE split rim will have some sort of seal between the two or three sections as the tyre will be over the joint
And I also belive the term in gangsta land for 20" wheels is "rolling on Dubs" if I remember pimp my ride correctly?

if phil wants to prove chip wrong (or right) he could take a picture from the back of the wheel showing the back face of the spokes and the inner edge of the wheel (dunno what the tecnical name for that bit is!) which would show the join between the two pieces of the rim if they were infact proper splitrims.
