Default Basic exhaust manifold question

What are the benefits to these bling equal length exhaust manifolds etc

Is it just for power gain? does it overly effect torque and turbo spool up etc

Strikes me Paul that the engine you want is the one Mike's got so I'd ask him being honest mate.

Perfect for what you're looking for out of the lump.

Equal length is far less important than flow on a turbo engine.

it depends on your spec,, but do you think it would be worth spending 1200 quid to gain 10 BHP

I'm more interested in to whether it would improve the way the car drove and whether there would any noticable improvement in the turbo spool up and torque

The standard item on a 2wd cosworth engine is pretty good anyway, so gains compared against that are minimal.

On many other engines though, it can make a massive improvement in top end power, although normally at the expense of spool time.

if you had alot of time, and alot of money, you could tune the exhaust manifold and you MIGHT get some gains in the areas you want! but as you are not going to tune the manifold for you spec! don't waste your money, spend it elsewhere (the garetht Ferrari fund is open for hand-me-outs)
