Default why doesnt red-eye reduction work on dogs?

im trying to get a decent picture of my mums dog for my sister so she can make her a picture in a frame, but i cant get a picture without evil green eyes even with red-eye on

Unless someone is handy in photoshop?

i think you will find thier pupils and cornea work different to ours.could be wrong.

probably something like that, plus as i say his eyes come out green, bit like a fox when your head lights hit there eyes

i have the same prob with my two,wish it didnt spoil the pic but never mind.get the dog outside in day light then you wont have a prob.

dogs can only see in black and white so i would imagen the eyes are different to ours

Or just edit the eys in Photoshop after the pic!

yeah i could do as i have PS CS but ill be damned if i could find out how to do that
