yes.thats the man.he took me around knockhill in his black "550bhp" 3 door ace performance car. it was quick but not 550bhp quick. probably slightly more than 400 id guess.

I have lots of video footage of both Andrew Gallacher and Charlie Shaw from today - hopefully have some clips up in the next day or so! Racing was awesome, shame Andy lost 1st gear in the first race then something else in the second race - but what a machine ... SO fast and sounds awesome!

Car of the year for me!

was a good days racing yesterday. i think the damage on charlie's front left was from a qualifying insident involving charlie, me and derek hastings. derek came off the hairpin cruising, heading for the pits, i moved over to pass derek as i was on a flying lap. charlie decided that he was going to try and pass me as i was passing derek, however there was no room and his wheels touched mine. dont know what the hell happened but both my alloys got ripped apart. this sent me spinning left and my front left hit derek hastings' front left. i did 2 360's and ended up in the pit lane backwards!!

i had both front wheels facing each other, the back drivers side wheel was under the car. steering was snapped, real axle bent, broken drive shaft, knackered front wing and bumper, knackered front hubs.

my guys managed to get the car fixed in time for the second race. however, for some strange reason my car overheated and blew the cylinder head so i never finished. F*cking gutted!!!

Oh well thats motorsport.

Oh and as for Del Hastings 700 or 800bhp. Don't think so. Im running a 350bhp front wheel drive Fiesta and i can match him for pace.

had a good days racing. first gear went on the start line of the first race but manged without it after that, then towards the end of the race the brakes went into the metal
got some old pads in for the second race
never got good start cause of first gear the caterham got well ahead but managed to catch him and pass him but by then my brakes were gone again swappeed places with him a couple of times then the second last lap a front drive shaft went so only had rear wheel drive then center vc burnt out just managed to coast over the line for second place and get towed off the track.

Was awesome seeing your car on track for the first time, amazing machine, was some of the best racing I've seen in years at KH!

I got showered with stones and glass when a mini spun off into the gravel trap at the bottom of the esses - superb!!!

I was impressed by the way Charlies car passed the porche GT3 coming out of the hairpin, was bloody quick. Spoke to him in the pits after the first race and he said he broke the front drive shaft after hitting a fiesta in qualifying. Andy Gallachers car is very quick, I dont think it will be too long before he reaches his target time of 51 secs.

I have it on video when the driveshaft broke on Charlie's Focus, coming out of the hairpin you can see something flying off his car then no power!
