on MSN Messenger, if you get send a file called itsME88 , DO NOT OPEN IT, it is a virus. It Automatically sends to anyone on your MSN list that is online. Don't know the effects yet, but it can't be good

I got sent it by accident,and opened it as it was off a trusted friend, but obviuosly it was NOT sent by them, it was spam

If any one has info on how to get rid of it, please let me know ASAP

Have a look on CyberTechHelp and see if there's anything about it. If not, register and post a thread in Cyber Safety. I had a virus through MSN a few years ago and I registered on there and asked for help and one of the CyberTech Helpers helped me get rid of it. The viruses sent via MSN are usually the hardest ones to try and remove.

i had one a few months back..

thers no easy way..

you have to re install windows..so do a system recovery

just back up everything on there asap..

the virus i had got worse everyday untill the laptop just wouldnt do anything..

just went dead..wouldnt turn off or anything..

so i just did a rcovery

works fine now
