How did you get on ?

My guess is that it was maybe the netgear wireless software on the laptop ?

Forcing the windows wireless setup is usually much easier and reliable

It was last night but today I loaded up the laptot and I have had to right click "Repair" on the computer icon with the red cross next to it as the wreless didnt work again working ok now Ive done that but cant keep doing this as it only allows me to Repair so many times

do you use the netgear software or windows software on your actual laptop ?

What speed is your line ?

How far away from teh router are you going with the laptop ?

And how thick are the walls in your house ?
