Hi have any of you changed all 8 of the front wish bones on a B5 96-2000 model passat?
Anyone know roughly how much I'd be paying or even if I was to supply the parts?

Thanks

Deane from MA Developments would be a good person to have a chat to, he is very experienced with these cars and I believe is partial to the occasional PJ

Ive got the same car, and was discussing it with him last night at the Surrey RS meet funnily enough!

all 8?

fuck me sideways! you'll be looking at about £70 each for the lower ones and £40 for the uppers, 4 of each.

labour? err probably looking at 4 hours at whatever mechanics charge these days! £40 a hour?

p.s. get it looked at to determine which ones are actually fooked! you may find you just need a rack end which is about £30.

As above why are you doing all 8?

Creaking tends to be lower ones.
Clonking can be the TCA end (though most of them will have the modified ones by now)

Not many guys will take on the upper ones as PJ's. They really seize (I mean get the Oxy out seized!) in the upright and can be a complete tosser to remove.
