Default MOT and emissions

putting my car in for an mot after I finished doing some work to it but it smokes every now and then, most of the time on idle (blue smoke), would this most likely be turbo oil seals and will this make my car fail mot??

thanks

Unless it smokes out the workshop it will be ok.
Smoke likely to be turbo or stem seals, look for oil in pipe between turbo and intercooler, if no oil likely to be stem seals.

as long as in the testers opinion its not excessive smoke it will pass. opinion does vary between testers though
