i currently have a mk4 escort xr3i which has a kent fast road cam and an adjustable vernier pulley and a straight through full magnex exaust.
it happily revs to 7k no probs without red lining so its pretty quick!
ive gave a few turbo cars a go too!

i have been searchin for a while for a set of solid tappets from an rs1600i
as my tappets ar beginning to get noisy and its pissin me off!

if anyone can help me in finding a set and how much they are il be very greatfull!!!

Burton power sell newman solid tappets, not sure if you need to use a newman cam with them or not tho.

Forget the kent and piper ones...they shit.

Get some genuine or some newman ones and a newman cam

You do know that solid followers are noisier than hydraulic ones dont you?
