Default young drivers and ins company`s

who is the best for your first car my nephew is battering my head big style,

it would be his 1st car, corsa 1.2 sxi (of course) because a normel 1.1. aint good enough

are there any company`s who do this mirror insurance if i was to insure the car (for the 1st year) ,but him as a named driver would he still get a years ncd bonus aswell

any help or links would stop this little shit getting a kicking

cheers Andy

Quinn direct seem to be acceptable at insuring young drivers but saddly if he wants to drive he IS goiong to have to pay. Perhaps if kids would stop bouncing off stuff the premiums would come down.

if i was to insure the car (for the 1st year) ,but him as a named driver
That would be insurance fronting and illegal

Think you'll find if the named driver is the main driver it is illegal

Direct Line refused to allow me to renew as policyholder and eldest as named because he is the main driver.

Took it off elsewhere, cheaper, even though they didn't recognise the 2 years NCB he'd built up as named driver at Direct Line.
