Such as warranty direct?

I've had the csl nearly a year now and don't want to stump up the BMW £1200 annual fee

I work for a bmw dealership paul & remember you have a £250 excess on the bmw extended warranty on every claim on M models! if the repair is under £250 its down to you.

We have loads of ppl coming in here with other warranty companys such as scotsure ect which have claim limits you really need to read the small print on these! be carefull.

Some of them arent worth the paper their written on.

I know mate the SMG pumps are kinda prone to going which will set you back the money you paid for a warranty also engine DME control unit(ecu) stuff like that you will get your moneys worth but after 60 thousand miles on a bmw warranty stuff drops off & fewer items are covered. if its a low mileage car & your kinda sore on it it might be worth considering a bmw one but im pretty sure an after market warranty company wont be any use due to the price of parts for your car! p.s im not trying to sell you a warranty i only work here & it wouldnt benefit selling it one bi. the £250 xs is a killer tho

My dad had an aftermarket warrenty when i got his bmw 330d and after about 5 months the cam chain snapped and totally wrecked the engine. The warrenty company paid for a brand new engine from BMW which would have cost him 7K It was off the road 6 weeks but i was over xmas so i thought that was good.

All he paid for was a new clutch (advised by the specialist who did the work) and all the fluids

Talk about a result
