Default Engine conversion....

Someone 2 doors away from me has had a 50's Ford Pop in his garden for some time, pre-resto! Anyhow ive been trying to push him to get it started, but hes unsure of what to do in terms of an engine!! To start with he wants to find an engine or ideally a complete car he can utilise as a donor! Anyone got any ideas what would be a good cheap donor?!

Will do, from what i understand he is looking for it be quite subtle, nothing crazy power just so it runs a reliable modern engine and looks fairly original!

ahh the good old sit upn beg!!! first of all a new chassis needs tpo be created using 3x2 box section, to this mk2 escort front steering and suspension can be bolted upto, narrowed back axle, then a wacking great v8 slotted in upfront!
