ANYWAY OF LINKING LAPTOP TO TV???
Ive got a toshiba equium laptop is there anyway i can link it to my sony 44" rear projection tv?..........i see on the side theres the blue monitor plug and a head fone socket and ive got rca/scart plugs on the tv help please..cheers

you can buy a lead that gos from s viseo to s video socket or a lead that gos from s video into scart for the tv etc, ive got one i bought a while back its got s video to go into laptop and a headphone jack plug for sound, then the other end is a scart, about 20 ft cable on it too, you can have it for a tenner if you want?? cost me £30 from maplins

I have one myself, tho don't often use it anymore since I got a dedicated "HTPC" to sit under the TV.... Still, does come in useful!
All you do is plug a lead from the VGA port (PICCY) from the laptop to the converter box, then whatever lead you want (composite (yellow RCA), s-video (black plug, 4 pins) or scart) from the converter box to the TV. For power, just connect the supplied USB lead to a spare USB port on your lappy.
Thats it. Done. No installs, no drivers, no programmes to run, just plug it in and off you go...
