Default shell V Power vs BP ultimate

which is best?

is V-power now 99ron n BP ultimate only 97ron?

which is the better fuel to use?

my local shell garage has just changed into a BP garage

not only that they're charging 5p per litre more for ulitmate than it was for V-Power

We have certainly seen better results from V-Power than from Ultimate. I used to swear by Ultimate, but am now converted!!

I only used V-Power when I had my Cossie, or Optimax as it was then

I now occasionally put V-Max in my bike

V-Power for me - won't go to BP out of principle as they are 'usually' much more expensive than Shell or anywhere else!!!

What are you on about - how is waiting for Nikasil steel liners got anything to do with fuel ?

That's like blaming Gary's car for being off the road for so long being due to his choice of fuel, when he was waiting for his head to come back .

Tesco 99 isnt supermarket fuel....

Thats an oxymoron isnt it?

But you know what I mean

Its a fuel with 5% bio-ethanol which is made by Green Energy and distributed by Tesco.

But how the fuck have you managed that? Don't tell me you run the Freelander on it? That won't help the head-gaskets lasting!!

Your Cossie hasn't been on the road since the V-Power card came out has it??!!

No, the Freelander is not, but guess what other cars have to run on it - one's blue and the other is red ?

What is so special about the V-power Club card anyway ? They just sent it through as soon as it came out to replace my previous card? Probably because I have a million points ?

They only gave me a normal Red/Yellow card, apparently you have to use 300 litres of V-Power per month or per quarter to get a V-Power card and I certainly don't use that. I don't think it's anything fancy LOL.

I'm not surprised the Lotus has to run on it, but what is it that is Blue??

All the cars and mods are detailed in the Pf Garage .

Funny thing is, I took the Scooby to APT less than 2 weeks ago, and yet Christian STILL can't remember it .

The Freelander is my company car, the Scooby is Jen's, the Escort is mine and the Lotus is a shared toy between my Dad and I, so no need to get jealous .

I only use it when my cars got almost nothing in the tank and when I'm rich lol.
Its the only fuel I've felt it pull harder with. I would have thought all fuels would do something as I have a modernish car happy to run on NUL.
I don't mind if the supermarkets ruin my engine, they will pay so no harm done there lol yeah right!
Save yourselves some monies from the penies in a pot and try it!
