had my 2wd cosworth gear box rebuilt about 6 month ago and its whining this is the second box that has been rebuilt and they don't last long I would have thought that the gears would be the weak link not the bearings so whets the cure for this any 1 no

Mine had the same prob...it shifts spot on but was VERY noisy.

one of the bearings must be ready to go

Mine has lasted a good few months like this tho

you no whats funny is even if i got a quafi gear kit it will still use the std bearing set out of the t5 (i think so) the load is still going to make the beaings shite it self as i am not braking gears but the bearing s
