ive just uploaded the vid cam from our hols and the pc wont play them as it requires audio codec,m/soft adpcm format 2 codec! what the hells that??? ive gone on line to look for it but it means nothing to me im afraid could any one point me in the right direction or even a link would be great??????? please bear in mind that im crap with pc's, unlike you lot

VLC player, its free and it plays LOADS of different formats of sound/video files, normally if i cant play something in windows media player, vlc will play it, so try that if it doesnt work let us know

no problemo i reckon every pc should come with vlc installed as it plays pretty much everything, although i wouldnt use it to play music, media player is better for that
