Came out of the Royal Navy (Radio Operator and then Naval Police) in 1992 and due to that I was employed as Chief Security Officer (Safety/Security) onboard cruise ships...initially with P&O/Princess Cruises for 14 years, but moved on to Regent Cruise Lines last year.....(A bit more classy). Plus P&O Princess Cruises were taken over by an american company "Carnival Cruise Lines" which are great for a vaction, but not to work for.
Looks like there's three of us on here doing similar things.
Captain Mike, Me, and Roy.
ROY : Looks like that pic was taken in Portofino (Italy)...we visit there every three weeks, so if your still in the area, drop me a PM and we'll have a meet up and a few beers. What's your boat called ??? Will keep an eye out for it, and you do the same...."Seven Seas Navigator"....the picture is actually the Seven Seas Voyager, but they're both the same.
At the moment cruising around the Med. Due on vacation in August.

I'm a Farm Manager
My family has been farming around the Fens for over 200 years and I thought I'd jump on the wagon and get stuck in! 11 years down the line and its still an arse of a job! But it has its benefits

I work as a Administrator in a college.
I hate it, enjoy office work, but just not in this job.
I have enrolled onto a course to help me get into Personnel / Human Resources Administration. As i think that would be more intresting to work in.

Which, is a bit mad when you think about it, but then again it just shows you got some top top people on this site.
Ps: its the big beast!

I do nothing. It's quite difficult sometimes resisting the temptation to get up and stop wasting away into nothing but a neurological flatline...but I deal with it.
