Random post - lego crane
Look at what this guy's built - it's huge and it works.
I found it while looking for something completely different on google, but hey-ho.
I used to like lego, never made anything like this though
And a video:

Far too much time...
Any other lego fans around? :geek:

Have you kids not been to Legoland??!!
They have a Triumph Daytona (I think) in a cabinet which is lifesize and incredible. All the stuff there is quite fascinating if you are into Lego.

I was a Lego nerd. Still got 4 huge boxes in the lounge, that my daughter now makes use of.
Went to Legoland Windsor a few weeks back. Some impressive stuff there. Should see the NASA setup. How many bricks!
Site here with all instructions on if anyones interested.

I had loads of Lego when I was a kid - all "Technic" aswell. My first one was the "Test Car" - a bit big for a first time model, but it was an awesome build
I tried launching it down the stairs to see if it stood upto its name of being tested - it broke into a few bits
I could spend hours and hours and hours pissing about with that stuff

This is the Technic car I had, a few years down the line from the Spaceship (had loads of that series). Moving pistons and working gears!
I'm sure a fair few others had this for xmas/birthday too at some point.

I used to LOVE lego. Absolutely awesome stuff.
I had a lot of space stuff, only a little bit of technics stuff tho. I had a yellow Technics F1 car
I remember as a kid, building a load of cars that were meant to be my attempt at Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors!

The Model Team stuff was fookin ace.
There's a lot of Lego stuff on the net, there's even a trading site for bricks.
I was quite a Lego nerd, I was in the Lego Club, even had an article in the club mag. I was fortunate to get a tour of the Wrexham HQ when I was younger, cool place to work.
You can get some good 3D software off the net for free which allows you to build virtual models, I did this a few years back.
