95% of the time no, if your good you can tell from the tone off the drill bit as your about to break thru, you simply decrease the speed off the drill and the pressure, and bobs ya unc.
I wish youd come and do them for us then Never seen a sparkie do a good hole yit

Easier to turn hammer off on an sds drill, huge break out otherwise. I have seen a Virgin installer drill through heating pipes after he claimed to of used his detector. Swore blind they was plastic pipes and he was okay but due to the age of the building it was obvious they would be copper. ruined a perfectly decorated room and destroyed £700 worth of wood floor. That was one fucked Virgin!!

seeing as its the corner with wall on right on photo i guessed it was opposite side of wall from living room door! i guess that comes from beside living room door through to bedroom?

I didn't read it all... But I assumed he'd gone from the lounge outside then run an extesion to the bedroom.
