See the ad
in all fairness the majority of the handle which is facing up is white on both, and even though the whole handle is green on peti and black on diesel they both have green at the bottom of the autotrader sign where petrol or diesel is written.

its easy to see the difference once you read the thread title and then see the pictures tho.

i certainly wouldnt be making a song and dance about putting diesel into a high performance petrol car which leads me to tell you that i voted for "dickhead" sorry it just had to be that one, none of the others were suitable

EASY mistake to make

i done it with BP ultimate diesel

jim galbally was driving the car and parked up at the pumps wit unleaded, diesel and ultimate,,,,,,,,, DIESEL !!!

i got out the passenger seat and went and put the fuel in,,, 53 quids worth as it was,,,, well empty

started the car and it went about 5 metres and broke down

discovered what happened so bought 24 bottles of evian,,,, POURED IT OUT,,,( was cheeper than buying 5 jerry cans as they had a 6bottle multi pack deals on thank fuck )

anyway next day i complained to BP and i wanted my cash back for the fuel due to them naming it the same and also alternating the location if then fuels to every other pump,,,

THEY WRONG BACK REFUSING TO PAY THE 52 QUID FUEL BILL BUT WOULD PAY FOR ALL THE COSTS TO SORT THE SITUATION OUT,,,,,, bill came to just over 900 quid for ,,,,,,

GROUP A FUEL PUMP
GREY INJECTORS
fuel filter
ngk iridium plugs ( it actually had them at 25 quid each ,,, then i fitted 701's
fuel pump and 500 quid for the labour to flush the tank and change the parts

basically i charged them for what it was gonna cost me to fit greys to the cossie and live mapping

oh i also had the small matter of what do i do with the fuel,,,,,, well i just bought a sunbed and cossie interior of switch on here so i rented a van and refilled it with the fuel too,,,,, yes i got rid of it in a hire van

not all bad news,,, they WONT repay the fuel as it admits liability and thats why BP paied for the damage as a gesture of good faith,,,, cheeky cunts

And you have the nerve to call them cheeky cunts

its a KNOWN issue for them,,,,, simaler logos and both sharing the same name and fitting them on every OTHER pump

they KNOW thats a potential problem hence why they refuse to pay for it

or you refering to my just under a grand bill for,,, well for spending 2 hours with a evian bottle filling it with fuel each time the fucker primed

i only wanted the cash for my fuel back !!!

at least he's admited to what he's done, although i can't say i've not done something similer in the past, but not gone as far as putting the fuel in, justpicking up the pump

what they should do is get rid of the advert bollocks and leave the whole handle either black for diseasal and green for petrol so as to avoid these problems
