Was at Superstage/sprint last week with the Porsche Club Sweden and saw some proper cars.

has anyone seen that jeremy clarkson unleashed on cars where he test drives a twin turbo 911? it was a red one i think. It had 700 bhp and had the fastest top speed out of all of them it sounded mental

i was lucky enough to have a spin in a GT3 this last weekend at the ring, never realised quite how awesome they sound from inside, once you wind them up its got a mental engine note. The grip and brakes are just outstanding, i want one!

Many moons ago, my Dad had one of these:
......... but sold it. They are now worth a fortune.
He also had a Porsche garage in NW London, and at one time we had 10 911s, and a load of 944s in the garage.
Still quite fancy a 959!

The 996 turbo is the one for me ,4wd and still rewarding, also tuneable. But if i were forced id settle for a GT3.
lhd GT3's are pretty good value now under 50k.I think the CSL is more practical though and it sounds beter too.

Refined, comfortable, good looking and classy cars that are reliable, reasonably cheap to run, have great residuals and MENTALLY good fun on a track when you wanna do that! OR if you wanna pop down the shops on a sunday with the missus you can do that as well...
What a tool!!

But EVO had that car second... was already in last months 911 and Porsche world mag
EVO has a great piccy of the 9ff car from the underside though... mental thing, looks like a standard 911 Turbo, but it been converted to 2wd and runs full GT1 Transmission borrowed from a real GT1!!!
Stupidly fast car but a GT3 would hammer it around most circuits.
231mph at Nardo is MAD MAD MAD though
