quick question...
would 205s fit on an 8in wide alloy??
just for a temp fix to get the car home
my mechanic needs it out the garage soon as and ive been delayed with my delivery of new tyres
and have 4 205/40/17 tyres in my garage
and ive sold my diamond cut rims so its stuck on axle stands
and i cant just borrow a set of rims, due to having my new brakes fitted just now,not all will fit

dont corner hard or the rim will touch the road seriously!!! ive done it before with 205's on escort cossie rims
i would advise against doing it mate, get 215 at the minimum
8" = 203.2mm > doesnt leave much room does it

right i managed to get tyres sorted today
got 215/40/17 for front
235/40/17 all goodyear f1`s
the brakes and brackets have been all ground and fitted, wheels are on
hes just about to drop it off the jacks
i never got my new suspension in time,i hope the rears dont scrub with my stupidly low suspension
