all the info i can find says its an extensively modified duratec v6, maybe its not standard pistons but ford must make them 
or do they decompress it in other ways?
makes me wonder if jag used the similar engine in the supercharged cars when they were ford owned they must have run a lower c/r

also...
Internally, the engine has been modified with higher-lift cams and forged, rather than cast pistons, for extra strength.

next time your up at bruntingphorpe try and see if you can have a word with one of the waltons who own the site i know they've bought three crashed nobles to make one good one so they might have some engine parts going spare.
