Default Brake dust

Does anyone know how to get rid of the goldish sort of marks it makes after years of driving

my old alloys had it and i couldent get it off and i've seen some gooduns but there stained with brakedust
also, is there anypads recomended so it doesnt get as bad.

took me half an hour to get the brakedust off this wheeltrim. it was caked in it.

Can try TFR or different wheel acids etc but sometimes your just fucked and it wont budge.

Know youve not got a lot of spare cash pal but its worth having a shot at redoing your own alloys as long as there not kerbed to fuck.

Bit of time and patience rubbing them down and some even coats of paint and laquer and you might be surprised

Any decent wheel acid should do the job. Then give the wheels a good few coats of polish, and keep them clean and they should stay as good as new.

the wheeltrims will be my tempary wheels for awhile, and i hate aftermarket cheap shit ones. i used the trim as an example to brakedust stains as you can see it aint all come off.

just started work again mate so shouldent be a problem, i was thinking of doing the alloys i have in mind dark grey or black, but i wana get em first
there the si rs2000 escort mk6 alloys that am after, the ones i've been offerd are just caked with brakedust and i've been told it wont budge, ill see what comes up tho cheerrs.

as long as you seal the wheels afterwards there a lot more easy to clean

the polish fellas tell me..take the car there every two weeks for a £6 jobby

at first they used to cry as i drove in
