I need a VAT number for my expenses

I have searched for the company online but no reference to the VAT number though I know its registered. (its a pub)

anyone any ideas or access to info?

Has to be on their invoices by law melv.

As stu says, if they vat reg then they have to display their number, just ring and ask them.

Has to be on all company communications IIRC, invoices, statements, letterheaded paper etc, including emails.

I've had to set up a few email signatures for customers recently to include company addresses, contact no's and VAT numbers

is just a simple meal receipt.

but I can't claim back without the VAT number - I asked for receipt separate to visa one and all got given one... to find out later had all details bar the VAT number! lol

no big deal just thought would be published list somewhere.
