how much it would cost to repair the panel arond the filler cap on an xr2i
been round to veiw a nice one but as usual needs work for rust in the usual place on them

yes mate i restore fords the reason i said what i did above is to make it last you would have to do a fair bit of fabrication and it takes a while and most body shops work on £25 per hour at least and that would only be 4 hours and thats without the paint and materials charged to the job i would charge $200 to replace the filler seround or£300 to change the quater panel

that is verry cheep then mate cos the repair panel is about £10 the paint would be around 15 if it was straight colour or 30 if it was metalic then there is weld trough primer then filler and primmer and sanding pads masking paper and tape id be suprised if thay made £25 out of the job so its well worth using them again
