ford keys are wank. i've got into mine, driven it away and locked it again with having the wrong ones, the only time i noticed is when i had to open the fuel filler

they might have got better in recent years though. go to the scrappy and ask what they've got.

well if she has no keys left

its a new set inc locks which would be around £200 i reckon

if she's still got the red key, its ok, only cost a few quid

if she aint the red key but still has a normal key

she can get it cut but would need it programming n with the red key it will cost £85

i think im rite, someone will correct me if im wrong

has it not got a coded key linked to the ecu?

So long as she has one key(spare) she can get sorted ok.
I had one red and one black supplied programmed etc for £65(fords), even the red had to be programmed to my ECU as I did not have a red only black to start with.
Shop around though as the prices I got varied from around £130 to £65.
