not read past the first page, but basically you was in the wrong to park there.
what would i do if i found a fresh dent in my car, kick a big dent in theres.
do i care what you lot think, no
im really careful getting out my car in carparks and have always taught my kids the same when they get out of the car, so if some cunt puts a dent in mine then there gonna get it back tenfold.
ps evening all

You should have pointed out the policeman using a cash machine while on duty, as this will be looked down on, and where was he parked, double yellows ?.

Why would using a cash machine be looked down upon ? I used one this morning and had my breakfast in Tesco last week whilst on duty. Is this a problem ?
If your on Police buisness then the law gives an exemption to parking on double yellow lines. Obviously this would not include using a cash point etc but I don't think the lad has mentioned this.

Btw when you say 'on duty' do you mean you had your breakfast there on your tea break?

I'm supposed to get a 45 minute / hour break depending on the length of my shift. However, in 12 years I don't think I have ever had a proper meal break without it being interrupted.
One of the things that my shift do is on an early turn all go out for breakfast together, either at a cafe or Tescos etc. We are all on duty but obviously will have to leave if a job comes in, which we have done a few times.
As a Sergeant I'd rather have my Officers out of the station eating as they are visible in the community and there is less chance of them getting distracted with something else back at the station. I know from the feedback I have recieved the store managers like it as well. Before anyone asks we don't get it for free or discounted either.
