Well they 2.5litre Twin Turbo as standard, so not shy, and can do well over 600bhp on standard internals, but mine hasnt got the normal engine in it.

I have this one, whatever it is

Its way more than just the engine tho, that bit didnt really encourage me, I rate the original about as good.

Ginge- I wouldnt sell this in a million years, well, i would, but only when S13s done, which will be a while, and even then, i might not!

steve i know this is gonna sound stupid but erm

havent you kind of gone full circle,,,, as in you started off with a skyline and ripped the engine out to go mental spec,, then changed your plans and got a few other cars and now you bought a car thats gona skyline engine fitted to it

but then i guess if you ever prang it then you could fit the engine into the skyline and finish it off

ginge, not really mate.
basically, what i got now, is a completed project, job done, no mods, just use it.

only reason I build cars is nobody does cars to the spec I like em at, but this is exactly what id build if I had the chance, so is perfect, all the completed project, and none of the mega grief building it!

best thing is, the car is WAY better than I am, and for that reason have no excuse to mod it at all.
I mean until I can do this, I cant blame the car...

as you can see, my new cars had 1 careful owner, never raced or rallied...

I know, nuts eh.

Everyone whos seen the car, spec, video, etc has said the same, regardless of type, a car of this spec and condition normally would be selling for 8k+ and even then seemingly a good buy for what you get.

Crazy what you can get with the right work, and makes you see how little VFM some cars are.

Its been recently (last few weeks) featured in a mag in Japan and on an Option tuning video too, which is quite cool, a nice bit of history to it

I would have expected 8K+ as well mate.

If you can keep finding cars like that at 3K or so, you can live in a place like renton does in no time

thing is though mate, its finding people to buy them.

same as with skylines, you put a skyline up for sale for a fairly good price, and you get loads of replies of "thats sooo/toooo cheap" and "people will bite your arm off at that price" but no cunt buys them still

mate of mine put his big spec 32 up for i think 11k, which was quite good for what it was, had loads of people saying he mad, it too cheap, etc etc, but couldnt sell it for love nor money n ended up selling it for nigh on half that.

im getting similar at mo with my 32, tho i bet i sell it for asking price, but i still had little serious interest and LOADS of people saying thats the bargain of the century.

car like ive bought is even worse, too hardcore for 99% of people, so though they go wow and woo and wank over it, theyd never dare buy it

to be honest though even the seller says its a bit hardcore

Driving Impression
This is not a car that would be suitable as a daily driver. There is no sound deadening so the exhaust is quite loud inside the cabin. The clutch pedal is stiff and it engages very quickly. Putting your foot to the floor results in neck wrenching acceleration as boost comes on fast and hard. The custom spec'd Bilstein coilovers are valved very aggressively with spring rates to match. This car was setup to drift and can do it extrememly well.

XR2i Carl- Like chip said, its got a modified Skyline GTR engine in it, so you dont need to ask
Also read the "driving impression" bit above, esp the bit saying...
Putting your foot to the floor results in neck wrenching acceleration as boost comes on fast and hard

Chip- Im reckoning on about 3500 tops, keys in my hand, ready to drive to the MOT station.

Batfink- Yup, my baldy ginger friend the Bonatron3000 is rocking one of these in EDC this year...

I think the caption for that lot is...

Chip mate, fuck comission, your a mate, spend that on the car, ill find you one I reckon.

I was crazy lucky with this one, but for 5k tops (i mean delivered, all taxes paid, ready to MOT) I reckon it wont be hard finding you a right weapon.

This fuckers a mega spec, actual competing car in Japan (obv not D1 level, but has competed in D1 Street Legal, MSC, and J-Cup) and is about 5.5k landed.

Is it going road legal Steve ? SVA test etc ?

You could have some fun on the Halfords parts counter with that The little whizz kids they employ will be stumped at the first hurdle

Yes mate, over 10yrs old so dont need an SVA, just a normal MOT test

I can just imagine Halfords or even at Toyota

Theyd not have a fucking clue when I say its a Chaser, never mind one with a Skyline GTR engine in it

A what? With a what engine?

I like it £5.5K - why are they so cheap - can't be just a good exchange rate!

Cool, always nice to know.

Nissan, funnily enough, can get you ANY part of ANY nissan, wether it was available here or not, even ancient stuff, which is nice, so parts for skylines, from base models to GTRs is no probs.

Dunno about Toyota tho.

Rare jap only second hand parts are easy catered for by Saj at Jape Performance Parts, he can find you anything, but general small new items like you mention ginge, aside from Toyota maybe, i dunno, so they could be dead helpful

Luckily Chasers share a lot of parts with Lexus Soarers and Supras, so its not so bad either way.
