Default CAR AT AVA ON FRI 8TH.

FINALLY got car into ava on fri there to have it mapped, after few minor technical issues alan worked his magic again and mapped it to perfection

it made 257@wheels,but ambient temps were really high so will be 260+ on the road i would think,it was also ran up in 4th gear,

on the road it is goin really well, done 234 last time so the 20+ extra made has made big difference, the best thing of all is the mtx box, what a massive difference in grip with the equal length shafts, its like different car,and thats the box without slipper,i would defo recomend anybody to go mtx route,

so overall,am happy, and once again thanks to alan and co at ava,top job as ever, was worth the wait.

260@Wheels is a good result!! Nice one.

How much work was the MTX conversion?

Just one point that I am genuinely curious about, if you look on the legend on the right-hand-side of the graph, it shows the line with square markers as 'Tst Veh-4wd Pwr'??

What's that all about?

The 'Fwd' box is ticked, but that's a line with red circular markers??

thanks,as for markers m8,i dont know, but it is same on all my other graphs to??? i wouldnt have thought would make any difference.

the mtx conversion was quite tricky, especially the 3 piece driveshaft setup,a lot of fabrication and 1 off mods req,but well worth it,has transformed the driving of the car and no torque steer, and much much more traction.

The dif markers are if you want to compare to diff types of vehicles on the same graph.

Alan usually uses the 4wd one if its a single vehicle as its the easiest to read.

I am interested in the conversion, but not really up for the amount of work involved!!

Euan, thanks for the explanation. I just didn't know if it affected the Dyno settings/ramp rates etc.

not sure when be there next andy, going to put some miles on the car,and give box a hard time just to see how it copes, also going to fit the mtx ive got with slipper in it,to see what like, and try few other different geometry settings etc.

but for sure there are better times to come!!

fuck me mate that must be a weapon, mines made 180 odds in 4th and 205 in 3rd so surely with decent ambients and 3rd gear run it should be close to 300@wheels,been in davie ch's 272@wheels red escort and it was awesome can only imagine what yours will be like, especially with a decent box in it
you bringing it to the rolling road day next month?
