indicator fault - not flashing, just stay on
my grandads got an escort mk5b
thought i'd go round n give it a clean since it has mould growing of the paint work
noticed his indicators are fuct, when you put them on they dont flash but just stay on, a solid light, no on/off flash
and also on the dashboard the indicator light just stays on as well
any ideas what it could be, need to sort it out for his, he's dangerous enough on the road, nevermind without indicators

cheers lads, thought it could be the stalk, which bits the relay n where abouts is it?

should have seen the car after i cleaned it, it looked better before
washed it then all the damage became apparant looks likes its an ex-demolition derby car, ended up repainting most of it for him
