im after some help for my engine mount, i have made one to fit my zetec engine in my ka but im wanting a normal one that is bushed but im struggling to figure out how to fit one in, here are some pics of it hope you can help me sort it out!







as you can see it bolt up at the top but is very close at the sides so there is little room, any suggestions greatfully recieved! thanks alastair

only thing i can think of is if you put small round bushed under the plate and the bolts through them, this will obviously raise you engine though

 

whats under that plate in the last pic?
looks like part of the original style mounts with a big rubber bush in it already

 

they are captive nuts for the side bolt mounts, im just thinking of how to do it bit of a headache like!
