lol i failed on u turn. It was my worst part of riding and i had no confidence. I hit a small bump in rode as i turned, clutch came out a bit more i pulled it in and it leaned so i had to drop my foot

Just glad I did it on an er500.. imagine doing it on a 916 or something

I'm sure I remember seeing you could walk it round? although the way the bike test seems to go they'd prob fail you somewhere else if you did. Anyone else find it a very different experience to the car test? (apart from the obvious) I mean it all seemed to be about progress and being assertive.

Only minors I got were for not going fast enough on a dual carraigeway! Was pi55ing down, spray and cars everywhere. I was trying to be careful as I was 'on my test' but when we got back he moaned at me for not pushing it. I would of expected I'd need to take it easy. If it was a car test it'd probably be the opposite.

Firstly well done Paul BTW the TPS is still working fine

Regarding the fookin U-turn. It used to shit me too
I did the U-turn early in the test and was OK and thought "fook me I've passed", then failed on summat else

So I had to do it again
Scraped through that time though

And here's the REALLY stupid thing. I returned the 125 hire bike to the test centre that evening and never rode again for 14 years.

Get it done - you'll wonder why you ever fucked about with cars

If the weather is nice tomorrow, I think a trip out somewhere might be in order

Who the in the name of cameltoed pissflaps are you?

Lee - Went down to see Gus so took the A692 from Hudds to Sheff, then back up the A629 to Soverign junction, left to Holmfirth, up over the isle of skye and took a right to Meltham, over the Chain to Marsden and then the A62 to Delph/Denshaw and back over Buckstones to my gaff

Was rather a nice ride for my first time out on my own
