anyone know where to get models of escort rs turbos ive been looking for ages and cant find any

Few and far between, nobody currently makes a manufactures a diecast Escort RS Turbo model.

Solido made one 1/43 scale but it has long been discontinued, your best bet is to check out the French Ebay site and one may turn up.

There is also an Italian 1/43 kit but that also has been discontinued

K&R replicas make a metal kit of both the series 1 & 2 for around Ł35 but the standard of their kits are somewhat crude.

The only motorsport model I have is a very poor model of 1982 Rally of Elba which is not yet featured on my website.

yea i have a s1 made by solido bought it off fleabay for a tenner only downside is its red does have rs turbo stamped on the bottom though

 

someone has brought out the 1:18 xr3 so im sure they will bring out a series 1 or series 2 next

neverr actually seen a model of a rst though bar some lead kit my mate bought years ago

 

looked on the france site and there was a blue one and it looked shit

 

There is a guy who strips down 1:18 escorts and replicates them into series 1 RS turbos, resprayed etc, but they sell for Ł200.

i bought it cos i was going to get my bodyshop mates to paint it white abd then get my other mate that does signs etc to make me up some S1 stripes . . . . .. . . .. but never got round to it lol

 

Sunstar are ment to be making s1 and rs1600i ones later this year .

monza off here www.seriesoneturbo.co.uk is trying to get the s1 and rs1600i made (knew l had seen it some were) hope he dose as there no way am paying Ł200 for a s1.
