Thats why i asked how far the lead went back mate as it looked like it was back tracking up there.... Its not that hard to do mate im sure youll cope....

Well, when I lifted the lead, there was some water under it around where the split was. That was the only obvious clue. So, I sealed that hole.

I have had a go a repointing the Chimney, haven't quite finished, but done all the lower half and the real nasty bits. There are just some non-critical bits to tidy up later on.

I didn't replace that bit of lead, will see how it goes for now and keep my eye on it.
