Default Whats needed for closed loop Lambda control...

I have a 4x4 200 block YB engine and L8 ECU, I have all the parts like twin ign amp, loom, leads and MSD EVO Stg3 chip etc and am only minus the Driver board but Im waiting on a price from Stu on the new ALS and launch control driver

My question is what do i need to run my ecu on closed loop, I have a lambda probe and boss to weld into the down pipe, is the sensor just ready to wire into the ecu, anything else needed to get L8 to run this
Regards Mark

if its a std 4x4 loom you have im sure theres a plug already there for a lambda sensor

oh and I have a new MWS engine bay loom from a 2wd to use. so will have to swap TPS and wires over apart from that. I will check for a sensor connector on the loom, you never know.

Hi Rich, yeah I sold the road car, cage and other stuff I didnt need in the end as I bought a rally car shell and swapped the bits into that, worked out better financially, made more sense, less of a compromise, still got a lot of fitting up to do but money is tight to say the least now I have a house with the missus, mortgage first I have a project post started but not updated it for a while, I need a decision on the clutch first then I may finish the build, Aeroquip is the next big purchase ££££ but monthly payments are priority tut.

Hows your RS XR4x4 going, I will check your post, Jay said he had been over again

Regards Mark.

My question is what do i need to run my ecu on closed loop, I have a lambda probe and boss to weld into the down pipe, is the sensor just ready to wire into the ecu,
Decent chip with closed loop conrtrol software in it.
3 wires from your lambda.
wire 1 = chassis ground
wire 2 = fuel pump relay live
wire 3 = connect to ecu pin 2.

anything else needed to get L8 to run this
No, nothing.
