Undersealing?
as some of you know i had the boot floor of the 3dr cut out, and a plate welded in.
they have seam sealed where the joins are etc, but at the mo its bare metal and there is some very slight surface rust.
now, i got some acid etch stuff, so ill sand down the rust bits and slap some of that on
then what?
just spray black hammerite on it, or does it need the rubbery unseal shite?
if i can, id rather not use it, just hammerite it cos im lazy lol

I would have thought hammershite would be ok, its supposed to stop ryst, so i'd be ok provided it didn't get chipped off.

If it's bare metal then I'd try to give it a coat of etch primer, and seal with a topcoat. You could then give it a blast with something like Shultz which you can overpaint with topcoat if required. Dont use Hammerite, its fookin shite
