Just finished a 17 hour shift and i loved it!!.

I drive a London type taxi so can work the hours i want, all my mates think i'm sad for looking forward to work!.

i work in a bar and depending on the day its either one of the best jobs or the worse

some days you get a good crowd of people and its a great laugh other times its shite, another downside is the long hours and poor pay, as its a hotel bar its 24 hour license

I love mine as well. Work for myself with my own company and never felt so good or relaxed. Plus it is something i enjoy the business i am in.

i love my job i get to make fords look there best again im my own bos and i love the look on customers faces when they come to pic ther cars up and they are mint again its like getting payed to do your hobby

i'm a conductor on the trains which is not a bad job but the kids in the nights hanging around the stations are a nightmare

i've been luck so far but know a lot of guards that have been assalted

was hoping to go driving but have just heard they have suspended any more driving courses so i might start looking for something else tbh

More now since getting in at 10pm last night as the shed of a company car (Focus estate 1.6TDCi) i borrowed's turbo exploded just before junction 30 of the M1 at around 6pm

Metal turbo hose had a 3 inch split down it, RAC man taped it up with gaffer tape and putty, but now when you rev it it makes a noise something similiar to dropping a box of screws into a food processor so had to wait another hour for a tow. Didnt help that there was no fuckin oil in it either

What a waste of a friday night! And now, seeing as benfield ford had the bollards up last night i had to dump it in Asda's car park and now i have to go move it

i like my job,,, not cause of the actual job but we spend all day taking the piss out of each other,,, theres lots of different cultures and general stuff so we are never bored

one of the guys spent 900 quid on his athens ticket and hes been getting ripped all yesturday

even the sandwich woman join in by making a italian chicken sandwich for him

oh and then theres the taking the piss out of the pricks we have as cutomers,, and trust me that happened a few times


the actual job is boring though

i LOVE my job the people are so easy going including my managers, i work for SKY in osterley where all the programs get made i.e soccer am (which i went on last week) sky news, sky sports, etc my job is as a software tester and i work there as a contractor but its near enough perm people have been there for over 8 years contracting i also get FREE sky and theres LOADS of fit birds around

I like my job too, i drive a cherry picker machine on the railway and watch blokes in my basket changing bits of cables and pots on the overheads..........working for 3 hours but getting paid for 10 hours

I like what i do i just hate the company i work for. It's been bad for a while but it's convenient, as i live near the the office etc. but am now actively looking for something else. Especially since they've now turned round and stopped paying over time as of next month. So i get home from work at 8/9pm for the good of my health do i?
