the kit stops alot of it , alot of 3dr owners wont cut /trim the kit

I tried to get a set of 235 35 17's today and they dont seem to make them or at least the tyre shop and mytyres dont do them.

Any ides before i buy the 235 40's

A couple of the tyre manufacturers "used" to do 225/35x17s (Goodyear Eagle F1s). If they are still available from anyone, try these on your 8" front .

You should be able to get F1's and T1-R's in 235/40/17 from any good tyres company. I run 235/40/17 T1-R's on then back of my saph, imo its the one of the best mods i have done to it gave me so much more grip and felt more stable aswell.

It was a 235 35 i couldnt get even though people on here say there running them??????????????

I'll just get a 235 40 and take it from there, if the trim need cuting then so be it

If you want as close to std rolling radius as possible then:

225/35 r17

before anyone paps you can't get them, yes you can Falken FK 451 or 452

and you can get 245 35 17s for the rears aswell
peronally the wheel offset is way to small and wont fill the arches get the grinder out

The problem is i need not to catch like a bastard so they will need to sit in a little to prevent this. I like the look of them sitting out but its just not practical on a road car imo

fair play each to there own dude if you dont want to chop the shell and arches you have to stick to small ofset my shell had arches moved and chopped so i was ok

i'm having the same problems.. my rears are 8x17 et15, but the 215/35s on them atm look to small for them, and dont look tall enough to me. the kit was cut when i bought it so thats not an issue, any ideas?
