Default TomTom Upgrades and maps.........
Anyone know the cheapest place to buy an upto date map and upto date post codes for my tomtom?

Mines a couple of years old now and its struggling to find newly built buildings and estates.

Any ideas anyone? Been in to the local pc world today and they said i have to get it from tomtom direct? That cant be right surely?

i'm sure you can get the memory upgrade on the chip
we've just gone from tt3 to tt5 (6 won't work with the software we've got to do the other stuff) and it was a matter of minutes to upgrade everything, even he pocket pc versions

As far as I know, maps are only available direct from TomTom

The UK map upgrades automatically for free if you plug your tom tom into your PC and register it on tom tom home.....
