Default Advice needed on gun for spraying car

Need to do a very quick and cheap paintjob on one of my cars, doesnt need to be anything special, literally just want it all one colour.

Ive got a 3hp 150L compressor, which should hopefully just about cope, but I need a gun to paint with.

Not after spending much money as the car in question really doesnt need to look concours and is going to be half covered in vinyl anyway.

Is this the sort of thing im after?
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/High-Performan...QQcmdZViewItem

How do I know that its suitable for water based paint or not when im looking for a gun?

Ah, I was hoping for wednesday evening, lol

How about late tonight?

although if you reckon the other gun is fine, might make sense to just buy that so I have one for in future anyway?

water based will be fine to use, if your spraying outside of a booth though it might make it a messy job(e.g dust in paint) as it takes quite a while to dry, you could use a hairdryer!
2k will be quicker though!
cheers!!!!

None of the local places to me are still selling it, well not the ones I tried.

Its all over ebay though, will have to buy some now for the mini as need to spray that later on, just need to decide what fucking colour first. LOL

You still do 2 coats plus a "drop" coat to get the metallic effect. Then two coats of laquer.

If you want a "metallic" effect, rather than a "flat" look, turn the pressure down, hold the gun away from your panel and dust a coat on. Like a really light coat. If that makes sense!
