I got pulled last Monday.Doing about 55 in a 40.(1 in the Morning)Coppers pulled me.Did me.Asked if i had been drinking.I said yes,two pints a couple of hours ago.They tested me and i failed it. Took me to the Cop shop and 15 minutes later i passed it.Lucky me

 

I seriously hope I didnt get caught on camera on the A1 up to FITP last weekend, the needle was on the wrong side of 150

Last Friday night when I was out a mate had driven down, got pissed then attempted to drive home. Made the 10 mile journey back with no probs, got to the bottom of his road, lost control and smashed into 2 bollards.

Coppers turned up and he was in court on Tuesday: 20 month ban (with extended re test at the end of the ban) £600 fine, £87 damage costs and £15 court fees....so just over £700 in other words....not big and not clever.

Funniest one was he asked me if id give him a hand repairing the front end of his motor so he could sell it; I told him where to go. Im strictly zero tolerance to drink driving, ive seen the effects first hand

Im guessing they was red... I saw them on amber and it was to late to brake, Road was clear ( the two side roads are always dead anyway - ones from the back of a shop and the other is just a dead road! ) so I went through, *thinking it was amber* but obviously it wasnt

Probably, although we had a gps but it wasn't on at the time, when we tested at 100 on the speedo the GPS said 96 so possibly not that far out?
