An insurance company in touch with reality????
Swinton have announced they will no longer be taking into consideration speeding points on lisences, as so many people have them, it's bears virtually no resemblence on the risk of them claiming
That's what I say, and watch the other insurers follow suit.

Re: An insurance company in touch with reality????
Just to clarify, Greenlight have been doing this since 1996 - so you could say that we're firmly in touch with reality & have been since then.
As a performance vehicle specialist we have historically noticed that our clientele were often targetted and pulled over due to the type of vehicle they drive, even when keeping up with everyday traffic.
Our experience is that most speeding offences occur when driving through areas that are well known to the driver (ie. within 5 miles of your home address) and are usually within 10-12mph of the limit.
Kind regards
Tony
