I have used these in my Cossie for the last four years and replace them every 3-4000 miles.
Interesting that Mike.........

I put a brand new set in the Sapphy for the ring trip and had terrible on boost misfire on the way there that turned out to be the plugs,i just thought they were shite and put the champs back in but it`s possible i may have had a duff one,so i might give them another try....
More likely the caps were loose .
I`ll go and check cos i never chucked em....

Mind you have you seen the size of my fingers, they would probably be looser if i used the molegrips..

When u use theese 071`s on the 500+bhp cars, do u also use an ignition-blaster?
I tried them in mine, and that dident work wery good.
Idle sucs and misfire on full throttle.
And i ALWAYS fix the caps by the way

071's in both my cars,

and my brother even uses them in his pulser with out fail.

pp8's tips melt on much more than std,
champions 057's have been good on my cossie, but dearer than 071's.
NGK 9's, = miss fire on anything above 0.5mm gap.
