Naturally low mileage minter will fetch good money, but to be honest i don't think they reach the values of the escos.

Maybe just hold at the sort of figures they are at now if kept clean

Maybe it is down to the subtle styling of the saff that means it is treaded more as a work horse cossy than a crown jewel

well they gone up in value over the last 10 years

i remember seeing them for sale for 2500 to 3500 quid when i was 18-19

then they went to 3500 to 4500 when i went looking for one,,, got offered a few for 3k too

now there either 3500 for a dog that needs 3k worth of freshening up or 5k for a average one

i remember when claire sold hers for 6k and thinking she would never get that and she hung on and sold it

the only thing id say about buying a cossie is hold on to the cash and watch for a nice one where the owners having a bad streek and then kick him in the balls and buy it off him for 5k if its good

i think of buying a cossie every few weeks,,,, i look for em too but theres nothing like what mine was about and to make it worse i paied 4300 for mine

i hope they go up

i keep getting people asking me to sell mine tbh, i don't want to....haven't even considered it seriously, but if a mad offer came in then i'd be daft not to consider it

in all honesty i think that rough escos' will drop in price and level out at around Ł7k for the ones that need work or are generally tatty....although i don't see that being for a few years. The mint Escos' will continue to hold strong money.

Saffs i reckon will continue as they are, sheds or major work needed for Ł2.5k to Ł3.5k, decent cars with some goodies for Ł4500-Ł5500 right up to Ł10k+ for mint big spec cars, or mint low milers, or mint big spec low milers lol.

good specced safs with solid shells will always be worth good cash.

cant see them going up that much but dont think they will lose much either.

true, they aint worth the money cause the parts aint available knew and so when its insurance time there gonna get wrote off rather than repaired

they wont goe too much but they will get to the 7k stage in the next 2 years

theres a few forsale at the min too,,,, think people who can afford 13k upwards are looking at cars that aint got rust issues/dulled paint and high lmillage

then they will rise again like all cars do

i was telling xrt-si to buy one of them rather than a rwd saphy and convert it to rwd

i disagree tbh.i dont think they will drop at all.unlesss they are rusty shitboxes that have been mistreated. they are the last of the real cossies so i think they will hold their value with no probs.
the thing i do find strange though is the monte doesnt pull any extra cash over the standard version. its a ltd edition so you would expect it to.
