theyre a fooker to change tho! took me about 5mins to get the new one on! (old one just ripped off )

now i just gotta rivet on the new clips to my sideskirts and fit the newly painted (and fookin expensive from ford ) jacking point covers and the car will be looking a lot nicer

got my towing eye cover on the front too but im too embarrased to take pics showing the front bumper and the paintjob on it's WANK (will be getting painted pukka as soon as i can afford to get it done )

think they were about 11-12quid each gus, bought some stuff in a job lot that came to about 50quid...

got all clips+rivets for 1 side, 2 jacking point covers, na can of red paint...

all new ford tho (had some 2nd hand ones for a fiver in red, but they fell off coz the skirts werent clipped up proper )

i prefer it so much over the XRs ive had... may not be as quick as the TTs were (well, it WASN'T ), but still prefer driving it

would do with new rear bumper (real cossie one) and the front bumper needs paint as its been sprayed with auerosol, and its stonechipped to f**k!

gotta get my new doorstrips on at some point too, but i'm not in the mood to do anymore today, too knackered

got the mock dash install made up too:



gonna get the proper plate from nomad with the holes pre-cut i think... just got this MDF version in there at the moment as a mock to see how i like the arrangement.

thats the nitrous controller, nitrous arming switch, ABS enable/disable switch, and the nitrous pressure gauge in there wanna get a digital clock in there too really tho...

I would be tempted to spend some time with the fibre glass and make up a pod that fits in there and get everything all flush and smooth, then recess it in there

dash is a non-attempt... its a TEMPLATE i can send off to get it done proper by mr. nomad

c'mon i know i havea bad replutation but taping a big of MDF to the dashboard... erm... im not THAT bad!

currently there's a big gaping hole there, but only becasue i've come in for a break :P

ive gotta hook up the pressure gauge, then i'll put it back in with that MDF... mainly becasue if i dont put it back in then the nitrous wont work and i cant be having that

anyway, gonna order the bit tomorrow from nomad, so all im waiting for is delivery time

Jim, file out the slot in the side skirt clips before you fit them so they just get a bite on the cill. If you just try banging them on they break instantly, even brand new Ford ones are REALLY brittle. I broke 3 brand new ones re-fitting my skirts even after they had been filed and it is a real pisser at over Ł3 each

it does need some work jim, but its your if you want. bit of filler here and there, and some brackets as these are fooked.

reason i havent done it yet is that i need to jack the car up to drill out the old rivets, as the cars too low to get the dril in underneath
