I know the one you mean. I had a feature on it from REVS back in the summer of 2000. It was on the centre pages. Can't remember which month i'm afraid. I only remember this cos I had it in America when I was there- bought at airport.
It was owned by a black guy at the time, i'm 99% certain. Have long since chucked the mag i'm afraid....
You need to find someone with a back-stock of revs ![Grin](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
hehe- scrub the above... i've found it - will digi cam it now for you. Hope you appreciate me crawling around lofts rather than watching the footy

The car in question belonged to a guy called Rob Edmonds a Dentist
The spec is based on elwyn powells red 1.6 cvh
It was rolling roaded @ super chips and made 286.5 bhp and 292 lbft torque
it had bmw 6 pot tarox with either 305 or 315 disc's on the front s1 suspension on the front with a TT conversion plate bigger ARB on the rear larger charge cooler rad quick shift conversion one of the best handling cars of that era
Hope that helps
Regards Doug

I rememeber it, there was a big feature on it. It was featured with there grey escort turbo, both of which had massive specs. I think the grey was a 1.9 on venoms with the black being a 1.6 on black evos(like you said). But between them i think it said 600/700bhp. Tanks in the boot and everything.
